South Florida Business and Wealth Magazine (SFBW) recently announced the winners of its 2024 Diversity & Inclusion Awards, recognizing business leaders who are making a significant impact in creating a more equitable society. Among the honorees is Amy Murphy, founder of Clematis Creative, who received the distinguished “Ultimate Advocate” award.
This award celebrates Murphy’s tireless efforts in promoting diversity and inclusion, particularly within the LGBTQ+ community. As the cisgender partner of a transgender woman, Murphy has become a powerful voice for acceptance and understanding. Through her writing, speaking, and coaching, she empowers others and bridges the gap between the transgender community and cisgender allies.
Murphy’s personal journey and advocacy work have been featured in various publications, and her contribution to the Amazon No. 1 best-selling book “The Wild Life” further solidifies her commitment to sharing stories of love and acceptance.

This year’s SFBW Diversity & Inclusion Awards welcomed nearly 300 guests to The Venue in Wilton Manors to celebrate professionals who are making noise, leading vibrantly, and raising the volume and awareness of creating an equitable society. In a world where race, ethnicity, religion, differently abled, overcoming economic challenges, sexual orientation, gender and gender expression are not barriers to success, but rather enhance it, we were thrilled to honor business leaders for their dedication to fostering acceptance and inclusion the workplace and community. It was an incredible evening of entertainment, networking among like-minded business leaders and celebrating our honorees!
